PORK LOIN with GARLIC with BUTTER (makes 2 kilos) |
Ingredients
- 2 kilos of clean pork loin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 cloves of garlic finely chopped
- 1 ½ tablespoons fine herbs
Preparation
- PREHEAT the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with aluminum foil.
- SEASON pork tenderloin on both sides with salt and pepper; Combine the fine herbs with the garlic in a bowl.
- HEAT a large skillet and add olive oil; Sear the pork loin on all sides until evenly browned.
- ARRANGE the pork loin on the baking sheet and cover with the garlic and fine herb mixture; add cubes of butter over the pork loin.
- COVER with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes; After this time, remove the aluminum foil and bake for 10 more minutes.
- REMOVE the pork loin from the oven and let rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
